The Spring Advance is now in the rear view mirror! For those guys that attended, the experience will last much past the weekend and will impact their lives permanently. There was fun, food and fellowship all over from the first push of a bike peddle to the last prayer. If you couldn’t make it up this year we invite you up for next year’s spring advance. Put it on your calender now for the weekend before Drake Relays next year.

Here are some of the highlights from this year’s Spring Adavance:

Biking Up -

Getting Ready to Roll: Preparing for the 60 mile ride with 25 mph headwinds the whole way (gusting up to 50 mph)

Pausing for a breather in Waukee and picking up another rider

Friday Night Session 1:

Scott Gratton lead the guys in worship this year. There is something so cool about a bunch of guys singing together, powerful stuff!!

The HILARIOUS Tim Schifsky cracked jokes and had fun with the guys. And yes, his hand was that blurry in real life.

We had a full house on Friday night to listen to Mike Burkey tell his story. (Mike Burkey not pictured)

Friday Night Activities -

We had way to much fun on Friday night to stop and take pictures! Ping Pong, Pool, and Basketball kept guys moving and hanging out. Just having the opportunity to talk with other guys away from the office and away from family was a refreshing experience!

Saturday Morning Session -

After a great night’s sleep it was time to get back together for one more session.

Scott led us in worship again and Tim got things kicked off with some fun and humor.

Jordon shared his story of the way that God has used the truth to change him and his family

Rob Newberry ended our time by talking about some great Mobilization opportunities coming up with theUprising.
